Word of Blog.net

An advertising network service with a twist. A advertiser can add his banner to the directory within this service. A publisher can select a banner he wants to publish on his service. Or a publisher can create a portfolio of banners. Central to the idea is that the publisher selects. It is more a word of mouth service than a real advertising service, as no one seems to get paid. The publisher can browse through the advertisers through tags or can add tags himself.

Writeboard

A service that allows a user to create and edit a piece of text on a service. Other users can also edit that page after invitation. This feature is a bit Wiki-like. Text can be exported as html or text-files. Each piece of text, called a writeboard, has a unique URL. The system supports version control for each save. From a MicroContent point of view a piece of text has a very simple structure: a title, a description and a date/time stamp. But what is also important, it has a permalink and author(s). And one subscribe to a RSS-feed of a Writeboard, which allows for tracking any edits. Note that from a service taxonomy viewpoint, this service is not a publishing service, but only a generic enabling service for creating texts.
