Recipes

Recipes are instruction to prepare food or drinks.

Common fields of this MicroContent Type are:

• Title - the name of the recipe;
• Description - a description of the recipe. Note that these are not the directions;
• Source - the origin of the recipe. This can be the name of your grandmother, a cook in a magazine, a web-page, etc;
• Tags - a set of keywords for the recipe;
• Ingredients - a list of ingredients required for the preparation of the recipe. Normally an ingredient consists of three parts:
  
  • Ingredient name - the name of the ingredient;
  • Ingredient amount - the amount required of the ingredient;
  • Ingredient preparation - the way the ingredient should be prepared;
• Directions - the steps required to prepare the recipe;
• Preparation time - the time required to prepare the ingredients for the recipe;
• Cook time - the time required to cook the ingredients;
• Servings - the number of servings that the recipe will result in;
