Del.icio.us was so nice to remind me why I do not like services: unavailability. They working on some planned maintenance, so I was not able to post several bookmarks. And I guess I will never post them now. So they only got stored in in my bookmarks manager, WebnoteHappy and on my personal bookmarks weblog.

I understand that sometimes work must be done on a service. And even my computer might be down for maintenance sometimes. But the latter does not bother me as I am the one doing the maintenance. But it shows that we are still a long way off from a telco-like infrastructure with 99,9% uptime.

All the more reason to keep a copy of your MicroContent on your own PC and work towards invisible synchronisation.
