Rich Clients are MicroContent Clients

Read/WriteWeb discusses Rich Clients a little bit. It changes my understanding of a Rich Client. I always thought one was talking about Flash-based applications for accessing Internet. But these applications are just. Internet-connected desktop applications. I would like to add to this that such applications must conform to HCI-guidelines of the platform. For MacOSX this would implicate the availability of drag&drop, services-menu, dock-functions, etc. And then we would have what I call a MicroContent client.
