Popularity vote

Dave Winer has created a website, which allows you to vote for one of the presidential candidates. By clicking on one of the weblog links a vote is registered. While this is a very dubious method for voting, it is interesting from A MicroContent point of view. What kind of content is a vote (OpenVote)? What fields should it have? Anyway it is an interesting subject to dive into. I guess an OpenVote is some-kind of OpenReview.

And why should I trust the voting mechanism of Dave (remember paper trails). So I will cast my vote by creating a web-entry. I hope it will show up in the Trackback-list.

In case you wonder, I would vote for Kerry, if I would be allowed to vote.
