MicroWeb example

When checking the Recipe MicroContent Client A Cook's Book, I realised that I encountered a new example of a precursor to the MicroWeb. The Client allows the user to manage the recipes of a user. For each recipe the user can calculate the nutritional value of the recipe.

Normally a recipe Client allows the user to enter the nutritional values, such as the calories, cholesterol, etc. However entering this information is a very silly. All the necessary information is already out there. A Cook's Book uses a list of ingredients with nutritional values published by USDA. It is just a question of matching the ingredients in the recipe with this list. Then the nutritional value of the recipe can be calculated.

I see this as an example where one MicroContent Item of one Type uses information from another MicroContent Item from another Type. In the case of a recipe this must be done for each ingredient in the recipe. Thus we have a link between two MicroContent Types. This link can be created locally, as assume is done in this Client. But it can also be live. Each time I open the Client I can load the nutrition database of USDA.

I find this a very nice example of a MicroWeb: linking MicroContent Items with other MicroContent Items.
