Martin Lindner sees 3 spheres developing in his personal microweb. He calls it the Read/Write Web, the Knowledge Web and Info Cloud.
I agree with his analysis. Another way to look at this three spheres, is how this different level of attention are recorded. For me the Read/Write web implies that I will create a blog entry in one of my blogs. This is either original material, or it is blogs that I comment on. And my comments are also original. My Knowledge Web attention gets recorded in my bookmarks, both on delicious and my bookmarks blog. I have the vague idea that I might want to get back to these bookmarks (never happens) and/or I like to show the world (and the authors) that I liked the web-page/blog-entry. And then finally there is the stuff that I see in my feeds, on the web-pages, etc that get recorded in my subscription lists and browser histories. The info is not worthwhile to comment upon, but that Info Cloud does touch me. And the rest, I do not see.
