FeedMe

I just noticed this MacOS-X application by Glass Onion software. It is a very simple application which allows you create RSS-files. Just create the items in the feed, edit the RSS-header and save. This allows you to publish anything in RSS-format and be independent of a weblog-service or -system.

This functionality should be part of all MicroContent clients: Publish as RSS. Just select a collection of Items, or a List and push the Publish as RSS button. The system then prompts you to fill in the required RSS-fields. Or you can have pre-set collections, which just require a Publish action and with WebDAV or FTP the files gets published automatically.
