Austin @ Thinking and Making discusses the "Come to me Web". Basically he misses the user in all the discussions and their real needs.
I agree that "come to me web" is only one part of the equations. Maybe that is why I start with the MicroContent Clients and look at what users can do with it. As a a user you do not care for microformats or whatever, unless the lack of it hampers what you want to do. You have to look at the functionality that a user wants first. And the come to me web is just one of those functionality's.
The come to me web reminds me of the personalisation stuff of the last century, which in turn was artificial intelligence re-invented. People have been dreaming about this for ages and they never stop dreaming.
