Podulise

Alf Eaton explains that podcasting is about sending files in an pod and no to. The idea is that a single file lacks any playorder and a means of distribution.

But he is talking about multiple files and not a single file. I do not think his arguments hold for single files. A well-formed MP3 has all the metadata one needs, so it is a valid container, which can be distributed.

But with multiple files, it is something different. Distributing that offers a wide variety of possibilities. Guess we need an AudioNeutrino, autodiscovery or whatever for that. We should not start to fill our webpages with all the possible feed-formats or file-formats. We will run out of orange wink
