My next MicroContent steps
Now that I have these blogs on MicroContent running for about two years, I start to wonder what I can do next. I am think in the line of Consolidate, Extend and Apply.
I started already with the Consolidate step by adding a Wiki to my site. I will use the wiki to draw the lines between the various blog posts. This is a sense similar to the articles that I wrote on MicroContent. The Wiki does not limit me in the number of pages or presentation time, and thus allows me to go deeper.
The Extend step is about broadening my scope. I already added mashing and I will add things like API's, GeoRSS and personal profiles.
The Apply step is about doing something we the knowledge. Creating blog-items, wiki's, articles and presentations is very nice, but I would like to do a bit more. I am thinking of doing some consultancy and creating a MicroContent service. I am open for suggestions.
