I realised that the ratings given for a PickList in the Shoposphere, can not be attributed to the author. I am not sure whether all these votes / reviews are a recorded somewhere. I did not see any evidence of my PickList reviews somewhere.
So here we have a very simple review type MicroContent. But should I call this MicroContent? It has no author, no publication date and certainly no permalink. And something similar happens to comments to a picklist. You can see the author of a comment when viewing a picklist. But an author has no way of finding out which comments / reviews he has created. At least I did not find it. I am not sure why this is, but I blame the lack of a permalink.
So this is a nice example where the lack of a pemalink and author can lead to. As an author you lose control of your opinion. An author can not retrieve what he has written and possibly edit. I'll have to work these facts into my MicroContent Web2.0 checklist.
