Location fields

Having structure is one thing, being able to fill the fields another thing. Filling in the longitude and latitude in structured MicroContent is hard. It is data that is not easily invented. Either one has to consult a map and work out the co-ordinates. Or one goes to a service like Panoramio. (there are other services that are more straightforward). It allows me to find the location on a map or earth view. And that is already pretty hard if you can not really zoom in. But it is better than nothing. Time to add GPS to all devices you use on the road.

By the way I do not care much about Panoramio. Just yet another Image publication service.

Thanks for your post about Panoramio. I hope soon we can make Panoramio good enough for making you care about the site BTW we have developed many improvements since your post.
