A post by Ted Leung on his publishing worries has provoked a bit of comments. Ted has a problem with all the places where he can and will publish his own Microcontent. And I agree absolutely with Steve Mallet‘s comment:
His life would a lot easier if he published everything from his weblog. (http://datalibre.com) , owned all that data himselft and let others aggregate it. Imagine how complicated life will be for him when he wants to move his images, bookmarks, etc to a different service or service(s).
At least that is what I am doing. I only publish on my own site and weblogs. Anyone can take my feeds and do something with it. I want for del.icio.us to accept my bookmark feed as input. And Marc I do not want a single Aggregator to take all my data, I want to spread it around the best that are out there.
And publication differs from aggregation.
