St. Genis
I think that this is one of the nicest sundials I have seen. It is fairly recent, i.e. from 2001. It extolls motherhood through it’s motto: Mère, le paradis est à tes pieds. Tu ne comptes pas. Le temps passe à aimer tes enfants. I’am not quite sure how to translate this: Mother, paradise is at thy feet. You do not count(?). Time passes loving thy children.
The sundial shows hour- and half hourlines from 6 to 6 o’clock.
The sundial can be found near St.Genis, Hautes-Alpes, France. It is on thr road to the village on your left. Impossible to miss.
