This is a fairly modern multi-faced sundial. It consists of three vertical and a horizontal dial on a single pillar. It is a fairly modern dial and was a present from the city of Freibourg. The dial mainly shows hourlines and the souther facing dial also shows the solstices and equinoxes lines.

When going for dinner at the Kranebitter Hotel, Innsbruck, Austria, I happend to notice this sundial accross the street. It was on the southern facade of a church, the Pestkapelle from the year 1620. The church exterior was under repair, the stylus had been removed. And the drawings were not very clear. As they have a habit of creating beautiful drawings on buildings, I have good hope that this when will be restored in good order.
