Applications that I downloaded and am trying to see whether they are useful.
This application allows a user to manage his bookmarks. The user can add bookmarks through Safari or NetNewsWire or a system wide command. The application allows a user to add notes to a bookmark.
A nice game where you have to shoot the planes down.
Now that I have go ADSL I can try out to use various messenger services. I use Fire for mixing my ICQ and Jabber accounts.
A very interesting application to manage your books, CD’s, DVD’s, etc. You can also manage who you borrowed something. And this has been neatly integrated with iCal and AddressBook. I hardly ever lend something, but this is nice. The presentation of you your library is cute. It uses bookshelves with images of covers. It looks nice, but when you library grows I do not think it is useful any longer. The most interesting part is the integration with Amazon. You get all the book information by just adding the ISBN-number of the book. You can enter also some personal information of books (when bought, price, rating and review).
I have been playing with the scan feature, which is pretty good. Once you get the hang of orienting the code and focussing it works well. I would love to see also my Amazon wish-list on the bookshelves. And a drawback is the lack of dutch and old books. Integration with other book databases would be nice.
