An interesting application. It shows geographic things on top of the earth globe. You can see the weather, cities, volcanos, earthquakes and webcams.
Interesting app, but why do I need it?

A stupid name for an application. It allows you to see countries in the world. It starts pretty slow, I guess that loading the image of the earth takes a very long time.
Looks nice, but why do I need this? It does not seem totaly MacOS-X compatible either.

I had a brief look at this application. This application allows you to write HTML-code. I like the preview pane, but I hardly look at the HTML nowadays. I prefer a WYSIWYG approach to web-site development. Only when there is trouble I look at the code.

An interesting tools which gives access to all kinds of system-level things. Might be useful, but I do not really need it. I was potentially interesting as I want to change the list of Services available in the menu. But the app could not help me here.

I saw this recipe application passing by. I must admit that I bought the program in the OS-9 days. Today I had a second look. I do not like it at all. It has nothing to do with all features of MacOS-X. The menu is non-standard. The interface looks like OS-9. By now this kind of software will be on my No Way list. I refuse to use it.
I did see that the Services-menu was supported, which was a happy surprise.

I am starting to think about a new wbsite and I decied to try out one of those easy website builders. I quite like the interface of this program. It is easy to add pages and easy to change layout. What I like especially is the preview option. That is pretty fast.
What I really miss and really need is the creation of sub-pages.

An application to manage your book collection. This is a pretty good application. It has a little bit a three pane approach, although one pane is drawer and thus not always visible. One can create various lists including smart lists. It is pretty good in finding various books through the ISBN-number and this includes Dutch books. I however do not like their interface to much. It could be slicker. And their menu’s are a mess from a usability point of view. They should read Apple’s guidelines and put things where they belong. It has promise, but they can do better.

I had a brief look at this application for managing your books library. I did not like the interface very much. I am now fond of the three pane interfaces. In this interface there is to much clicking. Finding books was pretty good, although Dutch books are still lacking.

I am not quite sure what this application does. You can view webpages and edit them and I assume that is possible to save them as well. Like ‘extract the web’. But I do not see a need for it. Might be useful if you want to copy page layout and CSS files. But beyond that my various clipping services work well.

A bit silly application, which allows you to draw rotating images using dots or lines. Fun to play with it, but not for long.

With this application it is possible to create a simple website. First the user selects an overall style for the site. This can be changed later. Then the user can create pages by selecting a page layout. The user can then fill in the blank spaces of the layout.
I liked the application and decided to buy it in order to create one of my websites.

A very interesting application to manage your books, CD’s, DVD’s, etc. You can also manage who you borrowed something. And this has been neatly integrated with iCal and AddressBook. I hardly ever lend something, but this is nice. The presentation of you your library is cute. It uses bookshelves with images of covers. It looks nice, but when you library grows I do not think it is useful any longer. The most interesting part is the integration with Amazon. You get all the book information by just adding the ISBN-number of the book. You can enter also some personal information of books (when bought, price, rating and review).
I have been playing with the scan feature, which is pretty good. Once you get the hang of orienting the code and focussing it works well. I would love to see also my Amazon wish-list on the bookshelves. And a drawback is the lack of dutch and old books. Integration with other book databases would be nice.

From time to time I need an editor to edit some HTML-files. I used Dreamweaver a lot, but my current version is very old, so I needed another solution. As I do not use it very often, I have not bought the application.

An extremely small application. It adds a menu-item, which allows me to ejects mounted disks. Very useful to eject my camera or iPod. And I do not have to open a Finder-window. It is just convenient. I’ll see how often I use it. It still uses space in my menu-bar.

A great little program, which essentially increases my clipboard depth to a stack of 10. I use it daily and decided to buy it. I used to use the extended version, but I never used the extended features. I was happy to see that there was a light version. For 15 dollars it was worthwhile to buy it.
