Now that I live in France, I found this a very interesting book. It gives a more deeply insight into the french society. The book is mainly about politics and economy. It shows that the french society is subtly changing and becoming more Anglo-Saxon. It is a very hidden change as the French do not seem to like change. And in many parts of society you still see a big communist influence. <br /><br /> I sure like that they are changing. The current way does not seem very democratic and is too unrealistic economically. (book read in Dutch) Author: Marc Chavannes |
