A psychologists gets invlobed in solving a murder case. The police starts to trust her slowly as she finds more relevant clues and naturally she solves i in the end. This is not one of the best by Nicci French. I found it a bit farfetched that she sees things that the police don't. She startes being a fulltime policewoman, but without the backing.
